Good pair of surreal covers, more so on the Kick Axe cover. The Agent Steel cover used to really catch me when I first borrowed it from you. A little drab with the pastels, but the tint is eye-catching.

I like aliens...except when they look stupid. Kick Axe just looks like bad photoshop, which makes it bad in perhaps the most generic way possible.

I have to go with Agent Steel. At least the alien and ship go along with the title. What does that Kick Axe cover have to do with the title IV? It reminds me of bad covers from late '90s Progressive Metal bands on InsideOut.

Agent Steel looks a bit like the Predator, so I'll go with that one.

I like them both, but Kick Axe takes it for me. The cheese factor is slightly lower.

I really like teh Agent Steel logo and the colors. I am not as convinced about the alien in the foreground. I don't care much for the lines on the statue's face on Kick Axe. The rest is okay except it does make it look like a progressive band and they are just hard rock.

Kick Axe's cover is cool, I agree with the progressive look (Pagan's Mind comes to ... mind?!?) but is has a relaxed breezy feel. Calm.

Agent Steel's is nothing to moch either. The alien is pretty good, but is that a gun or spaceship behind it?

Holy crap. H.R. Giger was in Agent Steele? I had no idea.

Oops. Make that "Agent Steel." I was thinking about Remington Steele and I got carried away.

I don't really care for either of them. They look kind of weird and out of place. But, I do like the band Kick Axe!

Don't know if it matters or not, but Agent Steel were always singing about aliens and space when they first around in the mid-80's.

Agent Steel's album cover is excellent. A band that never really lived up to their potential... Whatever happened to Evil Dead?!

I have to say that the Agent Steel cover is haaavy. I'm not even a huge sci-fi freak and I think it's cool.

But after deciding this, it seeps into my foggy brain...that...KICK AXE DID A REUNION ALBUM????

Like, three years ago????

My husband bought a 15 passenger Dodge van in 1989 that those guys drove around in. Or maybe it was Helix. It was a long time ago. He wasn't my husband yet back then...

Am I the only girl here? And can I come back?

Keshi-Welcome and thank you.

Dschalek-I always like Agent Steel in the 80's. They had a different sound. Unstoppable Force was my favorite album of theirs. Evil Dead just kind of hit at the end of speed metal and never got the push that Agent Steel did.

heidi the hick-Welcome. Kick Axe and Helix were both from Canada. I think Helix did an album earlier this year.
Looking up above, Keshi is a girl. There are maybe half a dozen female bloggers who post here from time to time. Yes, you can certainly come back.

Yes I think I'll be back.

Neither cover is eye catching to me. Maybe it is the subdued colors. If I had to pick one over the other it would be the Agent Steel cover.
